WOHD 2014 : Sambutan World Oral Health Day 2014 Peringkat Kebangsaan
This year, Malaysian Dental Association together with Oral Health Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia and Ministry
of Defence will be organizing the World Oral Health Day 2014 at Bau, Kuching
Sarawak on the 20th March 2014.
There will be Health Screening, Oral Screening
(On the Mobile Bus and by Ministry of Defence), Exhibition, Best Smile
Contest, Best Teeth Contest and Goodie bags for those who go for the
screening!
Everyone is invited, lets together make this event a success!

WOHD 2014 : Pengumuman WOHD oleh Bahagian Kesihatan Pergigian, Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia
Beginning 2014, the 20th of March has been declared as World Oral Health Day by the Federatione Dentaire Internationale (FDI or World Dental Federation) to be celebrated in all countries every year to promote oral health awareness and the importance of good oral health as an important adjunct to overall health.
The Oral Health Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia with the Malaysian Dental Association and other partners will commemorate this important date with a launch planned in Sarawak and various other programmes at state and district levels throughout the year.
The main opening event will be a fluoride mouth rinsing programme children at high risk to dental caries and residing in unfluoridated areas. Various other activities will include free oral health screening, general health checkups with blood tests, exhibitions and other promotional activities.
Johnson & Johnson will be the main official sponsor for the event.
