Pilihan Kerjaya Dalam Bidang Pergigian

Assalamualaikum dan Salam 1 Malaysia

Selamat Tahun Baru 2014 diucapkan kepada semua. 

Kepada adik-adik yang telah menduduki SPM / STPM pada tahun lepas, sudah tentu kini adik-adik tengah mencanak bidang apakah yang patut atau perlu dipohon bagi adik-adik melanjutkan pelajaran.

Pelbagai faktor yang adik-adik perlu ambil kira dalam memilih jurusan dalam melanjutkan pengajian. Antaranya adalah pencapaian akademik dan minat adik-adik. Pilihan keluarga juga kadangkala memainkan peranan.

Di Malaysia, kewujudan IPT yang banyak memberi banyak pilihan dan peluang kepada adik-adik untuk melanjutkan pelajaran dalam pelbagai bidang. Di antaranya jurusan perubatan, pergigian dan kejuruteraan menjadi antara jurusan yang menjadi pilihan pelajar.

Berita baik untuk adik-adik kerana khas dalam bulan Januari ini, kami warga pergigian Negeri Sembilan akan meletakkan satu  post setiap minggu berkaitan dengan kerjaya-kerjaya yang terdapat dalam bidang pergigian. Diharap post-post ini dapat menjadi panduan untuk adik-adik dalam memilih laluan kerjaya yang bakal adik tempuhi pada masa akan datang.

WOHD 2014 : Sambutan World Oral Health Day 2014 Peringkat Kebangsaan

This year, Malaysian Dental Association together with Oral Health Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia and Ministry of Defence will be organizing the World Oral Health Day 2014 at Bau, Kuching Sarawak on the 20th March 2014.

There will be Health Screening, Oral Screening (On the Mobile Bus and by Ministry of Defence), Exhibition, Best Smile Contest, Best Teeth Contest and Goodie bags for those who go for the screening! 

Everyone is invited, lets together make this event a success!

WOHD 2014 : Pengumuman WOHD oleh Bahagian Kesihatan Pergigian, Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia

Beginning 2014, the 20th of March has been declared as World Oral Health Day by the Federatione Dentaire Internationale (FDI or World Dental Federation) to be celebrated in all countries every year to promote oral health awareness and the importance of good oral health as an important adjunct to overall health. 

The Oral Health Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia with the Malaysian Dental Association and other partners will commemorate this important date with a launch planned in Sarawak and various other programmes at state and district levels throughout the year. 

The main opening event will be a fluoride mouth rinsing programme children at high risk to dental caries and residing in unfluoridated areas. Various other activities will include free oral health screening, general health checkups with blood tests, exhibitions and other promotional activities.

Johnson & Johnson will be the main official sponsor for the event.

WOHD 2014 : More than 70 countries involved!

With less than a month left until the 20th March, the list of National Dental Associations, student associations, governments, private and public health clinics, as well as individuals who will be participating in World Oral Health Day has reached a new record. 

Celebrations are expected in 75 countries, and with the presence of almost 50 NDAs.  North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania will all host activities, ranging from flash mobs to free dental checkups. 

The final touches to the different actions are being prepared in order to create the biggest buzz possible and increase awareness on the importance of optimal oral health throughout our lifetime.

Don’t be left out and join FDI World Dental Federation in celebrating healthy smiles this coming 20th March!
